Jay Chou Ni Ting De Dao (You Can Year It) is the Chinese pop music that you are going to learn today to help improve your Chinese. The Chinese word that I have chosen for you to add to your Chinese vocabulary is 'Mi Mi'. If you scroll down to the bottom to look at the actual Chinese characters and the meanings, there are actually quite a number of translations that all essentially mean 'Mi Mi'. I just use 'Mi Mi' in the way as how we use 'secret' in English. For example, you can say 'Wo3 Yao4 Gao4 Su4 Ni3 Yi1 Ge Mi4 Mi4' means 'I'm going to tell you a secret.' Go out and experiment with the word but don't get too complicated with it. By the way, Jay actually slurs a lot of words when he sings this song. You may not be able to hear some of the words properly as he links them together and sings too fast that the syllabus becomes unclear. I just want to assure you that it is perfectly normal if you can't hear the words clearly. I've done the due diligence for you to double check that the lyric below is what he would actually sing if he sang it in precise pronunciation. By the way, vague words have been a signature for Jay a while ago. He is famous for not singing words properly. :D Special Note: The words in [] are my own interpretation based on my understanding of the Chinese lyric. However it may not be the most accurate meaning to the lyric.
