If you're a fan of both types of music, get this album. You won't regret it. Even if you're not too fond of classical music, you'll be surprised at Jay's compositions.

Fa Ru Xue is full of Chinese folk elements. Not only have the tunes reflected a rich Eastern feel the lyric too is comprised many meaningful Chinese poetic words.

For example, instead of using a simple 'Ta', to talk about her, Jay used 'Yi Ren', which is a beautiful way of saying the girl I like. The word 'Yi Ren' comes from 'Qiu Shui Yi Ren', which a four-word proverb is meaning the person I'm often thinking of.
