Learn Chinese with Jay Chou Fa Ru Xue (Snow-Like Hair) is from Jay's 6th album - November's Chopin. This is an album of classical and modern pop. If you're a fan of both types of music, get this album. You won't regret it. Even if you're not too fond of classical music, you'll be surprised at Jay's compositions. Fa Ru Xue is full of Chinese folk elements. Not only have the tunes reflected a rich Eastern feel the lyric too is comprised many meaningful Chinese poetic words. For example, instead of using a simple 'Ta', to talk about her, Jay used 'Yi Ren', which is a beautiful way of saying the girl I like. The word 'Yi Ren' comes from 'Qiu Shui Yi Ren', which a four-word proverb is meaning the person I'm often thinking of. Special Note: The words in [] are my own interpretation based on my understanding of the Chinese lyric. However it may not be the most accurate meaning to the lyric.
