How to have Chinese font show up properly in your browser?
Install Chinese font in your Windows XP(R)
- Click on 'Start Menu'.
- Click on 'Control Panel'.
- From the 'Control Panel' window, click on 'Regional and Language Options'.

- From the 'Regional and Language Options' window, click on the 'Languages' tab (found on the top of the window).
- You will see two sections, the first section has a heading of 'Text services and input languages' and the bottom section with a heading of 'Supplemental language support'.
- On the bottom section with the heading 'Supplemental language support', you will see two options for you tick.
- Tick the second box that reads: Install files for East Asian languages.
- Click 'OK' to install East Asian languages.
Display Chinese on your browser
- Open your browser
- Click on 'View'
- Move your mouse to the option that says 'Character Encoding' or 'Encoding'. You will see a new panel of a list of languages opens up following the arrow.
- On this list of languages, choose the one that says 'Simplified Chinese (GB2312)'.
- Your browser should now display the Chinese font correctly.
